“Bull’s Eye” is a 3-way tug of war for your senses. Central America teams up with South America to create a blend of lovely, complimentary coffees that sing a song of sweet, buttery pecan, and juicy fig.
Our partners at La Trampa in Nicaragua and Palmichal Mill in Costa Rica make up 75% of this blend and they really hold down that solid, clean cup feel. La Trampa has the unique ability to consistently bring in solid, year-round coffees that seldom disappoint. Then there is Palmichal Mill, a group who employs high quality farmers, gives them the opportunity to master their craft while having the opportunity to receive a quality return on their work, striving to make their work ethical and livable.
To top off the trifecta, our partnership with Red Fox has given us the opportunity to work with the farmers at El Tucan in Peru. Harnessing the power of high elevation, Jose at El Tucan is shining a light with this juicy and sweet component, which rounds off this blend with a top note of fig. With a clean finish that leaves you wanting more, “Bull’s Eye” hits the mark on a delicious all around coffee.
A note from Eva:
Growing up in a more rural area, I was able to enjoy the night sky in such a vivid way. Later as an adult I became fascinated with constellations of the Zodiac. The name of this coffee, “Bull’s Eye,” refers to the star Aldebaran. The Bull’s Eye is a reddish star that sits within the constellation Taurus, which is my birth constellation. I wanted this coffee to be something I would love to drink everyday. The 3 components of this coffee (washed-process coffees from Nicaragua, Peru, and Costa Rica) combine my personality and love of coffee. I wanted this coffee to represent my personal journey and show appreciation for all the amazing connections I have made along the way.
Customer Comments
“Great coffee and great customer service.” -N.O.
“Best coffee!” -S.P.
“Your coffee is hard to describe. It doesn’t have a gimmicky flavor, just relies on the beans and roast. I usually never drink my coffee black, but have started with these roasts.” -C.M.
