We’ve been roasting farm to cup coffee in Milwaukee since 1993. Founded on the principle that we have an obligation to those around us, Stone Creek Coffee seeks to be a force for good in our local and global communities.
As an 8 year old boy I would spend my afternoons exploring a small creek near our cabin in Northern Wisconsin. I would walk under the canopy of oak trees exploring, seeking, learning and playing on the creek’s banks. When I founded Stone Creek Coffee as a 24 year old it was that ethos that I wanted to infuse into our new company. We continue this work today and welcome you to our coffee family.
Founded by Eric Resch in 1993, Stone Creek Coffee was built on the idea that we have an obligation to care for those around us. We have endeavored to conduct our business with this authentic care as we’ve grown from a single, small cafe in Whitefish Bay to where we are today. We call downtown Milwaukee “home,” and we work to see the flourishing of this great city.
Drawing from nature and our founding ethos, we try to approach each day with a sense of wonder and aspiration. As a little child plays in a creek, we want to bring that same sense of play and exploration to what we face each day in running a Farm to Cup coffee business. Our goal is not to create a massive enterprise. Rather, we simply desire to create change for the better in the spheres in which we operate. To do so, we work to see the world not as it is but as it could be, and we act in such as way as to realize that potential.
Creating remarkable coffee experiences for all of our guests rests at the core of our daily activities. Our physical cafes, our digital coffee experiences, and our relationships with our business partners are the avenues through which we do our work. We believe a cup of coffee has the power to heal. Each day we will continue to build a company filled with coffee geeks, who never stop learning while providing remarkable care to each other. We believe we are building two products at Stone Creek, one for customers and one for our employees. Our future work will focus on creating a community for the coffee curious built upon a foundation of inclusion and care for others. We are a certified B-Corporation employing the B-Corp impact areas to craft a thoughtful, data driven path for change. Finally, we will continue to measure our impact on the well-being of our employees, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. On we go.
