It’s not only important but necessary to find common ground. After all, it is our similarities that often draw us together. However, it’s also important to be different and to stand out from the crowd. It is when we can appreciate our differences and come together that we are truly united. For those who dare to be different and push the boundaries, we’ve brought you Black Sheep.
Black Sheep comes to us from Palmichal Mill in Central Valley, Costa Rica. Grown between 1200-1600 meters above sea level, Palmichal Mill strives to serve farmers who grow unique coffees and to sell those coffees to quality-conscious importers and micro-roasters. They process the coffee cherries using meticulous, quality-focused techniques. In addition, their small-scale processing model enables them to match coffees from smallholder farmers to roasters with specific quality and process requirements, all while maintaining economic and physical traceability.
Black Sheep is roasted dark but tastes more like a medium roast. So although it’s different from traditional dark roast compositions, Black Sheep is sure to unite dark and light drinkers alike. With sweetness, complexity, and a hint of acidity, you will find tasting notes of caramel, buttered pecan, and chocolate in every cup of Black Sheep.
Dare to be different. Drink a cup of Black Sheep today and be bold.
