CoCo Reflections from Selina Domenech:
This Week’s CoCo: Create Remarkable Care
I feel like these next two CoCos are very closely related and if you are doing one you are likely doing the other. The remarkable care throughout this company is not in doubt, that is one of the reasons I love working here! Everyone I have interacted with always has such a positive demeanor. My coworkers throughout the factory are always down to lend a helping hand and that shows the most remarkable care.
Next Week’s CoCo: Take Care of Your Co-Workers
Holding a door open, washing someone else’s dishes, helping lift a heavy mixing bowl, or covering someone’s shift are just some ways in the bakery we take care of our co-workers. There are many other ways but those are the first that came to mind. As a leader, one way I try to take care of my coworkers is by completing my tasks ahead of time so I can help anyone that might need it. My thought process behind that is, if I help someone my hopes are they will be able to help out another person and then the care for our coworkers becomes a ripple effect!
CoCo Heroes:
- Create Remarkable Care: This Core Commitment Hero comes from the Cafe & Kitchen Leaders Group – Annaliese and our Kitchen Team Leaders, Cameron & Aaron! At both Downer and Whitefish Bay Kitchens, this crew brings effervescent energy and enthusiasm to their work, endeavoring to make each dish and each interaction truly remarkable for coworkers and customers alike. They consistently create experiences that cause others to remark positively – the very definition of this CoCo. Great work, team – and thank you!
- Take Care of Your Co-Workers: This Core Commitment Hero comes from the Cafe & Kitchen Leaders Group – Madisen D, the Tosas Team Leader! In her work and interactions with coworkers each day, Madisen goes out of her way to coach, guide and support the people around her from a place of partnership and care. With a genuine curiosity and a natural ability to connect needs with resources, Madisen works alongside her coworkers and team members to craft ideas and solutions that improve our work together. We appreciate you, Madisen – thank you!!
