CoCo Reflections from Selina Domenech:
This Week’s CoCo: Think Hard
First, to think hard you will need some fuel for your brain (iced vanilla oat milk latte for me please). Now we are ready to THINK. The need to think hard can happen every day and may arise at any moment so you always need to be ready to think through what you feel is the best outcome. Sometimes if I think too hard or end up overthinking I need to bounce the idea/situation off of my co-workers/leader and get their perspective/think hard thoughts. Collaborating is the BEST!
Next Week’s CoCo: Clean the Corners
Nothing makes me feel better than when a new person walks into our bakery space and says “wow it’s really clean here”. To me, “cleaning the corners” comes easily, I LOVE cleaning AND organizing. “Cleaning” can mean a variety of things depending on your role, it could be sweeping and mopping, wiping down a dirty wall or, it can mean “cleaning” up an SOP to create a better process which will then create a better end product!
CoCo Heroes:
- Think Hard: This Core Commitment Hero is an Office Team pick – Karen Strange (the Director of Retail)! Karen is renowned for her relentless pursuit of excellence, constantly examining both current processes and untapped potential with a keen eye for improvement. A beacon of innovation, she approaches every challenge with unwavering optimism, infusing each endeavor with fresh perspectives and creative solutions. Beyond her professional endeavors, Karen’s passion extends to nurturing life in her garden. As the seasons transition, she channels her energy into meticulously planning the layout and selection of flora, infusing her plant life with the same dedication and care she brings to her work.
- Clean the Corners: This Core Commitment Hero is an Office Team pick – Hailee Wallner (the new CCT at Delafield). Hailee’s exceptional attention to detail shines brightly, particularly in her meticulous approach to cleaning the corners. Her dedication extends beyond cleanliness; she meticulously ensures that every product is adorned with the correct stickers and that all merchandise is flawlessly arranged. Hailee’s commitment to perfection exemplifies the importance of tending to the often-overlooked minutiae, setting a remarkable standard for diligence.
