Happy Friday Team! I really enjoyed hanging out with so many of you last evening at the Throwdown. Congrats to Happy, Payson, and Riley for placing. We are planning our next Throwdown for June so keep practicing your pours!
In today’s update I simply wanted to circle back on our plans for updating our employee mask policy. As we said at the end of February, we have been targeting March 28th to make masks optional. As COVID cases have continued to decline and are now at 8 month lows in our community, we are comfortable with moving that plan forward. Please see below for a detailed note from the Teams & People team about this adjustment and the continued need to closely monitor your health and symptoms. If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to send that team an email (teams@stonecreekcoffee.com) or to contact any of us directly.
As we’ve done throughout this pandemic, we will continue to daily read and take-in information about COVID spread rates, variant severity, and CDC recommendations and will make further adjustments to our policies as necessary, factoring employee feedback, in the days ahead.

FACE MASK GUIDELINES AND GENERAL COVID-19 POLICY
Due to the continued decrease in spread rates of the current COVID-19 variant and numerous speak ups from team members, Stone Creek Coffee is adjusting our COVD-19 policy as follows…
On March 28, 2022 masks will become optional for all employees. Stone Creek Coffee employees who wish to continue to wear masks are encouraged to do so. In the event a team member is returning to work after just being sick with COVID-19, SCC will ask the team member to wear a mask when they return to work in accordance with CDC guidance.
In addition, in the event that COVID-19 cases escalate and the CDC adjusts its guidance, Stone Creek Coffee will review this policy.
Furthermore, someone’s decision to wear a mask or not is a personal decision and no discrimination or harassment of any kind will be tolerated. Anyone who believes they are being ridiculed or harassed for any reason should report this concern to teams@stonecreekcoffee.com urgently.
Though face masks will soon be optional, please keep up to date on CDC guidance, monitor your health, and speak up when you have encounters with COVID-19.
