V60 BREW GUIDE
What You’ll Need:
Coffee: 26 g freshly ground (medium-fine, like coarse sand)
Water: 360 g (just off the boil, 205°F / 96°C)
Hario V60 dripper & paper filter
Digital scale
Timer

Gooseneck kettle

1. Rinse & Prep
Place the filter in your V60 and rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat your dripper. Discard the rinse water.
2. Add Coffee
Pour 26 g of freshly ground coffee into the filter, gently shaking to level the bed.
3. Bloom (0:00–0:30)
Start your timer and pour 50 g of hot water. Excavate and stir grounds for 30 seconds.
4. Pour (0:30–1:45 to 2:30)
Slowly pour water in small, steady circles, keeping the water level consistent. Avoid pouring directly on the filter walls. Pour until you reach your total water weight of 360 g. Gently swirl coffee as it drips down, ensuring a flat surface. Let the water drain completely and gently swirl brew.

CHEMEX BREW GUIDE
What You’ll Need:
Coffee: 48 g freshly ground (medium-coarse, like kosher salt)
Water: 720 g (just off the boil, ~205°F / 96°C)
Chemex brewer
Chemex bonded paper filter
Digital scale

1. Prepare Filter & Rinse
Place the Chemex paper filter with the triple-fold side facing the spout. Rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat. Discard rinse water.
2. Add Coffee
Add 48 g of freshly ground coffee into the filter, gently shaking to level the bed.
3. Bloom (0:00–0:45)
Start your timer and pour 100 g of hot water. Excavate and stir grounds for 45 seconds.
4. Pour (0:45–4:30)
Pour in slow, steady circles, keeping water level consistent. Pour in stages, allowing water to drain slightly before adding more, until you reach total weight of 720 g. Let the water drain completely and gently swirl brew.

FRENCH PRESS BREW GUIDE
What You’ll Need:
Coffee: 48 g freshly ground (coarse, like breadcrumbs)
Water: 720 g (just off the boil, ~205°F / 96°C)
French Press

1. Preheat & Prep
Warm your French Press with hot water, then discard.
2. Add Coffee & Bloom (0:00–0:30)
Add 48 g of freshly ground coffee. Start the timer and pour 100 g of hot water. Let bloom for 30 seconds.
3. Pour (0:30–1:00)
Add remaining water up to total weight of 720 g. Stir vigorously to ensure all grounds are saturated.
4. Steep (1:00–4:00)
Place the lid on so all the grounds are fully submerged, but don’t press yet. Let coffee steep for 3 minutes.
5. Press & Serve (4:00–4:30)
After 4 minutes of total brewing time, slowly press the plunger down, then pour immediately to prevent over-extraction.

ELECTRIC BREWER GUIDE
What You’ll Need:
Coffee: 60 g freshly ground (medium grind, similar to coarse sand) for a full 10-cup pot
Water: 1 liter
Moccamaster Drip Brewer
No. 4 paper filter
1. Prepare & Rinse
Place a paper filter in the brew basket and rinse with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the basket. Discard rinse water.
2. Add Coffee
Measure 60 g coffee for 1 liter water (adjust based on desired brew size) and add to the filter, leveling the bed.
3. Fill Water Reservoir
Fill the Moccamaster’s reservoir with fresh, filtered water up to your desired brew amount.
4. Bloom & Brew
Turn on the brewer. The Moccamaster will heat water to the optimal range and pulse it over the grounds for even extraction. Close the brew valve and allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds while spinning the brewing chamber. After 30 seconds, open the brew valve to allow for proper brewing.
5. Stir & Serve
When brewing is complete, stir the carafe gently to mix before serving for consistent flavor in each cup.
