MY BREW SERIES

This edition of our My Brew series spotlights Garrett, our Director of Finance, who hand-picked this coffee and shaped the story behind it. From the name to the concept to the ideas that inspired it, here’s his brew, his way.

The world gets a lot more interesting when you stop pretending you've got it all figured out. Inspired by the joy of exploring new passions, Garrett built this blend around curiosity and discovery. High-altitude Colombian coffees from Tolima bring bright acidity and sweet mango-like lift, while a stunning Geshe from Peru's Cusco region contributes a creamy, velvety body and delicate jasmine elegance. The cup unfolds with notes of blueberry, apricot, and orange blossom; radiant, beautifully balanced, and full of nuance. It's a coffee that rewards attention and reminds us that the best things in life are often found when we're willing to try something new.

Half-pound bags are available for a limited time.

A Note from Garrett, our Director of Finance

The midlife crisis is misunderstood. It conjures an image of desperate action to prolong a past identity. But it doesn’t have to be this way. At its core, the midlife crisis is an invitation. This invitation beckons us to explore, to improve, and to discover new sources of joy. So put on that Lycra and call yourself a cyclist. Pick up that instrument and call yourself a musician. Grab those small-batch beans and call yourself a coffee geek. When the invitation arrives, it is my hope that you will accept. May this delicious coffee be the fuel for your next midlife crisis.

What grind should I choose for my brewing method?
Whole Bean

Whole bean coffee is unprocessed and unground, preserving peak freshness and flavor until ground to the desired consistency for various brewing methods.

Espresso

Espresso grind is a fine, powdery grind with a texture like granulated sugar, crafted to create high-pressure extraction, resulting in a rich, concentrated shot with bold flavor and velvety crema.

Aeropress

Aeropress grind is a medium-fine to fine grind, similar to table salt or slightly finer, allowing for versatile brewing times and methods, resulting in a clean, rich, and full-flavored cup.

Cone Filter or V60

Cone filter grind is a medium-fine grind with a consistency similar to table salt, designed to optimize water flow and extraction in cone-shaped coffee makers, enhancing clarity and balanced flavor.

Flat Filter or Cold Brew

Flat filter grind is a medium grind with a consistency like sea salt, ideal for flat-bottom drip brewers, promoting even extraction and producing a balanced, smooth cup of coffee.

Chemex or Kalita

Chemex grind is a medium-coarse grind, similar to coarse sand, designed to ensure a slower extraction and clean, bright cup with pronounced clarity and delicate flavors.

French Press or Clever

French press grind is a coarse grind, with a texture like breadcrumbs or coarse sea salt, allowing for full immersion brewing and producing a rich, full-bodied cup with minimal sediment.

How fresh is your coffee?

Our coffee is roasted fresh to order and ships within 24 hours to ensure peak flavor. For optimal taste, we recommend brewing between 4 and 21 days after the roast date—this allows the coffee to degas and fully develop. After that window, it will still taste great for several weeks (or more), especially if stored in a cool, airtight container.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Our subscription products deliver freshly roasted coffee straight to your door on your schedule, with full flexibility to skip, pause, or customize anytime. Choose from curated options or build your own to match your brew style and flavor preferences. See all subscriptions.
