CREAMY & DELICATE

A single, luminous process from Juru Farm. This honey-processed Red Bourbon, grown high in Rwanda’s misted hills, needs no blending to find its harmony. It is a quiet, balanced exploration of depth and light, where the deep sweetness of black currant meets a structure of cream, lifted by the clear, bright, delicate arc of citrus flower.

Available for a limited time.

Clarity from the Clouds

On the high slopes of the Rulindo District, time is measured in the slow ripening of Bourbon cherries under a close sky. At Juru Farm, Leonard Karasi tends this quiet kingdom. Here, at the roof of the Northern Province, the air is thin, the land steep, and the coffee inherits a clarity known only to places that exist between earth and cloud. Leaving the noise behind, this coffee is pure, patient craft... a single, honey processed lot from a single year’s harvest, distilling the character of its hillside.

A Direct Path to the Sun

The craft is one of deliberate intimacy. The cherry is pulped, but its sweet mucilage, its “honey,” is left clinging to the seed, a protective skin against the dry air. The beans then pass directly to the drying tables, where the highland sun and air work slowly upon them. This direct path from tree to light concentrates the bean's innate character, yielding a cup of remarkable purity: a clean, structured balance where the depth of black currant is anchored by cream and illuminated by the graceful flight of citrus blossom.

What grind should I choose for my brewing method?
Whole Bean

Whole bean coffee is unprocessed and unground, preserving peak freshness and flavor until ground to the desired consistency for various brewing methods.

Espresso

Espresso grind is a fine, powdery grind with a texture like granulated sugar, crafted to create high-pressure extraction, resulting in a rich, concentrated shot with bold flavor and velvety crema.

Aeropress

Aeropress grind is a medium-fine to fine grind, similar to table salt or slightly finer, allowing for versatile brewing times and methods, resulting in a clean, rich, and full-flavored cup.

Cone Filter or V60

Cone filter grind is a medium-fine grind with a consistency similar to table salt, designed to optimize water flow and extraction in cone-shaped coffee makers, enhancing clarity and balanced flavor.

Flat Filter or Cold Brew

Flat filter grind is a medium grind with a consistency like sea salt, ideal for flat-bottom drip brewers, promoting even extraction and producing a balanced, smooth cup of coffee.

Chemex or Kalita

Chemex grind is a medium-coarse grind, similar to coarse sand, designed to ensure a slower extraction and clean, bright cup with pronounced clarity and delicate flavors.

French Press or Clever

French press grind is a coarse grind, with a texture like breadcrumbs or coarse sea salt, allowing for full immersion brewing and producing a rich, full-bodied cup with minimal sediment.

How fresh is your coffee?

Our coffee is roasted fresh to order and ships within 24 hours to ensure peak flavor. For optimal taste, we recommend brewing between 4 and 21 days after the roast date—this allows the coffee to degas and fully develop. After that window, it will still taste great for several weeks (or more), especially if stored in a cool, airtight container.

Do you offer subscriptions?
