3 WAYS TO MAKE COLD BREW AT HOME

Cold brew isn’t just for summer. Its smooth, rich flavor and low acidity make it a refreshing favorite year-round: over ice in July or topped with steamed milk in January. If you’ve ever wondered how to make cold brew coffee at home, there’s a method for every style and setup. Here are three easy ways to brew cafe-quality cold brew using some of our favorite tools and Stone Creek Coffee beans.

1. Effortless Brewing with Stone Creek Cold Brew Filter Packs

If you want a simple, no-fuss way to make consistently smooth cold brew, our Stone Creek Cold Brew Filter Packs are your best friend. Each pack comes pre-measured and filled with freshly roasted, coarsely ground coffee, ready to steep.

Available options:
Choose from three of our most-loved roasts for your ideal flavor profile:

Roy G. Biv – Bright, fruity, and lively.

• Jet Black – Bold, rich, and full-bodied.

• True Blue Decaf – All the flavor, none of the caffeine.

How to make it:

1) Take the filter pack full of coffee out of the box

2) Set filter pack into the bottom of a vessel large enough to hold 88 oz of water.

3) Fill your vessel with 88 oz of water between 50-55°F.

4) Place lid on your brewing vessel and keep stored at room temperature for 15 hours.

5) After 15 hours, lift the filter out and let the liquid drain from the filter.

6) Store in an airtight container and refrigerate. Please use within 2 weeks.

These packs make it effortless to have barista-quality cold brew ready to go, perfect for busy mornings or easy entertaining.

2. Brew Like a Pro: Toddy Cold Brew System or Hario Shizuku Slow Drip Brewer

For coffee lovers who enjoy the craft behind brewing, the Toddy Cold Brew System and the Hario Shizuku Slow Drip Brewer deliver a hands-on, customizable experience. Both extract cold brew’s signature smoothness in unique ways.

The perk: You can choose any Stone Creek Coffee beans you love, and grind them specifically for your brewer, coarse for the Toddy, or medium-coarse for the Hario. This ensures the perfect extraction and highlights your coffee’s natural sweetness.

Toddy Cold Brew System:
This classic immersion-style brewer makes a strong, chocolatey cold brew concentrate that’s low in acidity and high in flavor.

1) Add coarsely ground Stone Creek Coffee to the Toddy.

2) Slowly pour in cold water, making sure all the grounds are saturated.

3) Let steep for 12–24 hours.

4) Filter and refrigerate the concentrate, then dilute 1:1 with water or milk when serving.

Hario Shizuku Slow Drip Brewer:
This elegant, slow-drip system creates a light and refined cold brew with a delicate aroma. Over 1–2 hours, cold water drips gently through the coffee grounds, producing a smooth, tea-like brew. It’s an excellent choice for our single-origin Small Batch or Reserve coffees, where you want to highlight subtle tasting notes.

3. Cafe-Quality Nitro Cold Brew at Home with the uKeg Nitro

If you love the smooth, creamy texture of nitro cold brew at our SCC cafes, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to make nitro cold brew at home with the uKeg Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker.

How it works:

2) Pour it into the uKeg Nitro and charge it with nitrogen cartridges.
