The road ahead may be long, but we’ve got the fuel to keep you going. Switchback Peru is a limited time offering from Peru that may be one of the juiciest Peruvian coffees we’ve sampled to date! With a creamy body and sweet, acidic notes of green apple and lemon-lime, Switchback’s your new favorite co-pilot.
This lot was sourced directly from Luisa Rodriguez Aguilar of San Ignacio in Northern Peru with the help of Red Fox Coffee. Luisa is a member of the Cooperative, Alto San Ignacio. Alto San Ignacio was formed in 2015 by a group of producers who were looking to simplify their logistics and increase profit margins–and together, they’ve done just that. The members of the co-op warehouse their coffees together in Calabozo. This particular lot of coffee has Caturra and Pache varieties, and was grown between 1550-2000 masl. After it was picked, the cherries were processed using a washed method.
Slow down and take the winding road. Just make sure you grab a bag of Switchback before it’s in the rearview.
