El Vergel Estate settles in nicely at 1400 masl on the rich soil of Nevado Del Ruiz, a wise, inactive volcano that provides the beneficial nutrients to grow strong and unique coffee plants. Martha and her kin, Shady and Elias Bader, run this high-quality producing farm in a way that not only benefits those who partner with them, but also the community around them. Through their water recycling program, farm water use has seen a reduction of up to 40%.
Strawberry Fields Decaf shines, cup after cup, with a rich brightness that is reminiscent of a strawberry that just crossed the threshold into a life of deeper sweetness from its tangy past. Paired with notes of chocolate and currant, this cup sets out to change the hearts of those who have had a tumultuous relationship with the decaffeinated.
Coming from the same varietal as our previous Guava Banana Colombia, this coffee has a washed finish that is bathed in a sugarcane derived Ethyl Acetate solution for a clean decaffeination process. Strawberry Fields sings the harmony to our desired coffee experience of sweet, clean and juicy, but this time, without the kick.
So let us take you down, ‘cause we’re going to Strawberry Fields where we can sip slowly, forever.
