Michael Marchant is our one and only Inventory Manager here at Stone Creek Coffee. With every purchase, be it online or for our cafes, Michael has had his hand in the operation. His ability to keep inventory straight and deliver items with such positive energy, we can positively say that Michael is unmatched. We are lucky to have Michael as a part of the Stone Creek Team and hope this coffee can shine a light on all of the incredible work Michael has done.
Made up of two Central American coffees, this blend has us in awe of the deliciously rich product of two expertly cultivated coffees. 50% part Costa Rican, 50% Guatemalan, 100% rippin’. The Costa Rican element brings in some cherry and citrus notes which really help round out the deep and rich flavors we receive from the Guatemalan component.
The Palmichal Mill in Costa Rica’s Central Valley generates work for small farmers across the West and Central Valley. Aiming to be sustainable in its efforts, Palmichal pays their farmers a competitive and livable price, which then allows farmers to care for their families and gives them the ability to come back every year. So you can rest well knowing those cultivating this coffee are being paid properly and treated ethically.
El Mirador finds inspiration for its name from the Cuchumatanes, the largest non-volcanic mountain in Central America. Due to its elevation, Cuchumatanes has one of the best views around and is the perfect lookout (or “Mirador” in Spanish) with incredible views of the smaller mountains and valleys around. The nutrient rich soils of El Mirador have given us this delightfully rich and full bodied coffee that is the strong foundation of this delicious blend.
Go on, fetch a bag or two before this “My Brew” ends. And because life comes at you fast, we find that the best way to meet it is with coffee in hand, a pup by your side, and a back pocket full of your very own “Speedy Moves.”

A note from our Inventory Manager, Michael Marchant:
When my wife and I adopted our dog, Mabel, the Humane Society advised us that if she were to escape our backyard she’d be difficult to catch. Apparently she had gotten loose in the facility and skillfully dodged capture much to the amusement of the staff. Hard to believe from first sight of this little floppy-eared, stubby-tailed, cartoonishly cute puppy. But the first night we brought her home she was a bolt of lightning. With this coffee we are capturing this lightning in a bottle for YOU to bring home! Light roasted Ceca Costa Rica and medium roasted El Mirador Guatemala combine for a rich, full experience of caramel, pink peppercorn, cola, and plum. Sweet and spicy, just like Mabel!
Customer Comments
“Great coffee and great customer service.” -N.O.
“Best coffee!” -S.P.
“Your coffee is hard to describe. It doesn’t have a gimmicky flavor, just relies on the beans and roast. I usually never drink my coffee black, but have started with these roasts.” -C.M.
