THE VISION FUND – The Vision Fund was created in the indelible spirit of the ultimate take-smith. While Tron might thrive in the grey area and deal in the unverifiable, great coffee cuts through the noise.
At its core, The Vision Fund is a single-origin coffee from Colombia’s Huila region. Huila, Colombia offers the ideal growing conditions for delicious coffee. As a result, coffees originating from this region are particularly tasty. If you brew this with care you’ll taste the complex, yet refined flavors that altitude and great processing yield. Rich plum sweetness is given further depth by notes of cocoa, lemongrass, red grape, and a grapefruit acidity. The medium body of this coffee rounds out all of these flavors in the cup.
THE EYE TEST – The Eye Test is for those who will opt for a good time over fuss and nuance. Sure, math is helpful when you’re balancing your check-book or trying to land a lunar rover, but most of life calls for humor and painting with a broad brush.
The Eye Test is as accessible as we can make a coffee. It’s sweet and rich, with some juicy apple notes. It’s the official coffee of people who like coffee. If you were asking me which coffee I’d recommend you try if you’re looking for one that everyone will love, then I’d point you in this direction. It’s a blend of Colombia and Guatemalan coffee that’s perfectly balanced and non-threatening, yet scrappy in match play.
STROKES GAINED – Sometimes the game of golf beats you down. You spend an ungodly amount of money. Your swing comes and goes. The pro-game is barely worth watching (except for the majors). At the end of the day, you need something to restore your soul. Strokes gained is gonna do that for you. While that may be a lofty promise for us to make, the claim is backed by science.*
This is a dark-roasted Guatemalan coffee. Guatemala’s tropical climate and fertile soil is ideal for growing delicious, full-bodied coffees. This lot comes from the San Miguel mill in Guatemala’s Antigua. This lot was dark roasted in order to bring out its depth. Unlike many other dark roasts, this one still retains some of the coffee’s inherent juiciness. This paired with notes of dark chocolate and nuts, make it a true treat for both dark and light roast drinkers alike.
