Analisa Lopez has been with Stone Creek Coffee since the very beginning of our scratch bakery program. Her passion for the products we make in the bakery, and her collaborative spirit have been crucial in the growth of our bakery program over the last 10 years. We love having her as part of our team and were thrilled to work with her to put together this special coffee in her honor.
This blend of South and Central American coffees have met together to create a delicious, repeat sipper. The Nicaraguan component of this coffee which makes up about 60% of the composition is the caboose, its the motor that drives the coffee in and through. Our Nicaraguan has a creamy profile full of caramel that is perfect to set the stage for the lighter roasted coffees that are in this blend.
The two lighter components of Roller Coaster are from Ecuador and Costa Rica. Both of these coffees are delicious on their own, but when partnered with each other they create a new experience that is unlike any other. The Ecuador is from the Chinchipe and Morona Santiago regions and brings a clean and bright acidity to complement the soft creaminess of the Nicaraguan. To top it all off, our friends at Ceca in Costa Rica are to thank for the delicious light roast that sings both the tenor and soprano sections. With clearly defined orange and cocoa notes, it really ties all of these coffees together and creates a blend that just keeps on giving.
So hop in and hold on tight, a cup of Roller Coaster will put the thrill in your morning routine.
A note from our Bakery Administrator Analisa Lopez:
As a kid I’ve always had a sense of adventure whether it be in my imagination or in real life. One of my favorite hobbies to do is travel, especially traveling to one of my favorite places on this planet, Universal Studios. There you can go on amazing adventures, it can be through the Wizardry World of Harry Potter or in the land of Jurassic Park. But the best thing you can do at these parks is ride roller coasters. I have loved going on these thrilling rides ever since I was tall enough to ride them. I wanted to bring this sense of adventure through coffee and send you for a ride. My hope is when you drink this brew you too can experience a taste of the excitement and adrenaline a roller coaster can bring you.
Customer Comments
“Great coffee and great customer service.” -N.O.
“Best coffee!” -S.P.
“Your coffee is hard to describe. It doesn’t have a gimmicky flavor, just relies on the beans and roast. I usually never drink my coffee black, but have started with these roasts.” -C.M.
