Farm to Cup Story
This offering is brought to us from Finca El Niágara. El Niágara is located in Fraijanes, one of eight coffee producing regions in Guatemala, in the outskirts of Guatemala City. It is here that the Zamora family has farmed coffee since 1999 on their 35-hectare (about 86-acre) farm. The farm is named El Niágara, after the Niagara Falls, because during the wet season, waterfalls form around the farm. The lot of coffee used in the Falls consists of Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuai varietals, and was processed using a washed method. In a cup of The Falls, you’ll taste the juicy brightness of lime and currant paired with the smooth body of white tea, and rounded out with a stone fruit sweetness.
Some waterfalls are worth chasing, so make sure to grab a bag of The Falls before it’s gone.
