Farm to Cup Story
On July 31st, a legend was born, and the world—both wizarding and Muggle—was changed forever. Siriusly Black is a Nicaraguan coffee sourced from the LaRue family that we’ve medium and dark roasted to help celebrate this day. In the cup, the flavors are reminiscent of butterbeer, blackberries, and citrus. For you Muggles who don’t know what butterbeer is, it’s a fizzy drink that tastes like creamy butterscotch pudding. Like butterbeer, once you’ve had a mug of Siriusly Black, you’ll be craving your next.
Originally owned by their father Jerry LaRue, Cynthia, John Mark, and Sheldon LaRue have spent the past decade reclaiming and revamping the farms that their family have run for over five generations in Nicaragua. The lot in Siriusly Black is a mixed lot from three of their farms, La Plata, Apolo 11, and Los Mesones, called “La Trampa”, after their father’s farm, when combined. It is an enchanted mix of Caturra and Catuai that underwent a washed process.
So whether you enjoy it black or with cream, let Siriusly Black dazzle your senses.
