Farm to Cup Story
People matter, and so do their stories. This is a sentiment that we share with the Carlson family, whose mantra is founded on compassion. “We are ready to give to those in need,” it reads, “realizing that needs take on as many forms as people do. We believe that every person and living thing is valuable and worthy of attention, despite what its history may be.” The Carlson’s dream to work with Burundian farmers has slowly, but surely, come to fruition. In a cup of Long Miles Washed, you’ll experience the citric acidity of lemon and the sweetness of peach paired with the delicacy of tea.
This particular lot is washed process coffee from various small farmers in the Ngozi region of Burundi. The washed processing method used on this coffee left it with a crisp and clean flavor profile. The Carlson’s and the farmers that they work with have become part of our coffee family here at Stone Creek Coffee, and we’re happy to make them part of yours, too.
Enjoy a cup of this limited-time offering from the Long Miles Coffee Project before it’s gone.
