Farm to Cup Story

Each autumn, we celebrate summer’s bounty by harvesting the fruits of our labor. At this time, we are able to sit back and appreciate all that has been accomplished while enjoying what our hard work has produced. This seasonal coffee showcases just that. Fittingly named Harvest, you’ll surely enjoy this seasonal offering that we look forwarding to sharing each year. With a subtle black tea-like body that pairs nicely with the rich sweetness of plum and brown sugar, and a complex acidity reminiscent of lemon-lime and black currant, Harvest embodies all that is good about this time of year.

Harvest 2017 is brought to you from the La Plata farm in the Jinotega department of Nicaragua. Originally owned by Cynthia and John Mark LaRue Palacio’s father, Cynthia and John Mark have spent the past eight years reclaiming and revamping the farms that their family has run for over three generations. The lot in Harvest is from the Palacio’s La Plata farm, and is a mix of Caturra and Catuai, and was fully washed after a 12-hour fermentation.

As we ‘fall back’ and enter into a new season, take a moment to sit back and enjoy summer’s bounty with a cup of Harvest. You won’t regret it.
