2021 Impact Report Series | Coffee Geeks

This is who we are. To be a coffee geek is to have an abiding passion for sweet, clean, and juicy coffee. This passion drives for deeper learning about coffee, family, work, and play. 

The “Never Stop Learning” mantra provides us energy and vision. What steps are we taking to evolve? What work are we doing to bring change?

• We are a B Corp. Joining the @bcorporation community gives us accountability, community, and framework as we continue to be a force for good in our communities, locally and globally. 

•’Employee Ownership. Eric Resch founded Stone Creek Coffee in 1993. He was the sole owner of the company for 20 years until Melissa Perez joined the ownership team and assumed majority ownership in 2016. Eric and Melissa have offered up a portion of the future value of Stone Creek Coffee to employees who have invested heavily in the company’s success over many years.

• Employee Satisfaction. Employee compensation and benefits are only a part of what makes a healthy, constructive employment experience. Over the past 3 years we’ve built out our internal communications to foster effective, two-way information exchange. Internal newsletters, workshops, and surveys are just some of the examples that have been integral in helping to evolve Stone Creek Coffee into the kind of place we want it to be.
