WISCONSIN WINTER COFFEE (recipe featured on ESPRO’s Instagram)
Makes two 14 oz. beverages
Featuring our Stone Creek Coffee Espresso Maple syrup and your favorite Stone Creek coffee, Wisconsin Winter Coffee brings you a Wisconsin Winter vibe no matter where you are in the world. We recommend trying this recipe with our Green Bike Colombia, which is just as tasty brewed as a French Press as it is espresso.
What You’ll Need:
French press
48g Coarse Ground Stone Creek Coffee
720g Water at 195-205°F (90-96°C)
1 oz. Stone Creek Coffee Espresso Maple Syrup
1 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
2 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream
1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract (optional)
Brewing Instructions:
First, bring water to roughly 195-205°F (90-96°C). Pour ground coffee into the French Press. Pour in 360g of hot water. Wait 30 seconds, then stir vigorously before adding the remaining water (720g total). Place lid gently on French Press without pressing it down. Wait 3.5 minutes, then press slowly until the button reaches the lid.
Drink Recipe:
While the coffee is brewing, to prepare the whipped cream topping, vigorously whip heavy whipping cream and optional vanilla extract until it reaches a thick, whipped consistency.
After your coffee is done brewing, you can decant half (or roughly 12 oz.) of the coffee into each mug prepared with Bourbon, Peppermint Schnapps, and Espresso Maple Syrup. Top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
