We are excited about this short run for several reasons. 1) Halloween and Christmas are our favorite holidays and this label is a nod to our favorite stop-motion animation masterpiece. 2) We are all nightmares before our coffee, so honestly it just feels good to get that out there. And 3) This is a spookily good coffee.
Coffee is the Sally to our Jack. Instead of the “Pumpkin King,” we may start calling Jack the “Coffee King” because that seems fitting, given our love for this bean juice. And although it may not save you from the sandman, Nightmare Before Coffee will help get you through your day in the here and now.
Both of the coffees used in Nightmare Before Coffee are products of long-term Farm to Cup relationships. The Nicaraguan lot of coffee in Nightmare Before Coffee is brought to us from La Trampa in Jinotega, Nicaragua. This washed process coffee provides Nightmare Before Coffee with a milk chocolate sweetness and creamy, nutty body. The Burundian lot of coffee is brought to us from the Long Miles Coffee Project in Kayanza, Burundi. This coffee provides the composition with the complexity of baker’s cocoa, the sweetness of berries, and a mellow citric acidity.
In a cup of Nightmare Before Coffee, you’ll taste sweet notes of milk chocolate and berries rounded out by a smooth citric acidity. It’s like if you mixed Boo Berries and Count Chocula and added some caffeine–you can’t go wrong! Hit the button below and grab a couple bags of this short run with free carbon neutral shipping!
