We’ve done it again! Typically, our small batch line is exclusively light roast coffees, but the last dark roast small batch was such a hit, we’ve decided to do it again! Meet Highwheel Dark Colombia, the newest addition to our small batch line. This coffee will only be around for a limited time, so don’t dilly dally in picking up a bag.
If you are familiar with our year-round coffees, you’ll know our Boneshaker Colombia well. It’s one of our Farm to Cup coffees from Huila, Colombia that we’ve had around for awhile because it’s a consistently good coffee. Well, we decided to get crazy and dark roast this bad boy. Highwheel Dark Colombia is dark chocolate, cream, and dates in a cup. It’s basically a dream coffee for any dark roast devotee.
The climate and location of breathtaking Huila, Colombia offers the ideal growing conditions for delicious coffee. As a result, coffees originating from this region are particularly tasty. This particular coffee was grown by a group of farmers in the region who mill their coffee together after harvest. Once the coffee arrived at the mill, it was processed using a fully washed process and made ready for shipment after being dried on patios. This processing method translates to crisp, clean flavors in the final cup.
