The coffee used in Emerge is a Burundian coffee that was roasted two ways. This coffee is brought to us from various small farmers who work with the Long Miles Coffee Project in Burundi. This coffee underwent a washed process. While the light roasted component contributes a subtle citric acidity and tea-like body, the medium roasted component coffee helps round out this acidity with sweetness and a subtle nuttiness.
