When I went downstairs at the
Factory today (our offices are located upstairs) to grab some coffee to prepare
a French Press, I was encouraged to try a coffee that hasn't ranked on the top
of my "I like it!" list. I decided to make a French Press of our Market
Day blend and am so impressed with the flavor today that I want to go back and
brew some more! Our current blend is a mixture of Ethiopian Sidamo and Organic
Fair Trade Mexican.
I would rank the body at a 5.5/10 and the brightness
would receive a 3 for quantity but a 7 for quality. Today's cup offered a
floral, sweet, complex aroma. The taste was crisp, buttery, velvety,
tangy, lemony, savory-overall very complex! I found the Market Day Blend to
be a pleasant suprise deserving my attention more often.
Off to sip slowly...
