Suprisingly...or maybe not so suprising...the one thing I used to do for my dad whenever  I wanted to do something nice was setup his coffee pot for him.  When Father's Day rolled around, my brother and I would get the grounds all setup in the filter, pour the water into the pot, and have his cup sitting out next to the brewer.  Then we'd leave him a note letting him know that it was all ready for him.
