In a world where
inequity is rife, let it be known that Stone Creek Coffee has taken up the cause
of justice, thrown off the shackles of coffee snobbery and flung open its doors
to invite the masses in for free coffee cuppings. Let it further be acknowledged
that these events are held every other Friday at 9:00AM at the Stone Creek
Factory, located at 422 N. 5th Street in downtown Milwaukee, and furthermore
that the next cupping is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday September 21.
Tomorrow's cupping event will focus on espresso, that dark beauty of all beans, and a discussion on the etymology of the word "espresso" is also planned. During the cupping, several different single origin and blended espressos will be in contention for the high honor of Cuppers' Choice. And who, you may ask, are these illustrious and well-heeled cuppers whose powers of taste and refinement will decide the beans' fate? Why they are you and you them, sillies. But fear not, you who are newbies to the cupping world, for master roaster Stephen Bybee will guide you through the process. Truly, by the time you leave you will radiate a deep, coffee confidence never before imagined.
So come to the Stone Creek Factory tomorrow--and every other Friday--at 9:00AM sharp for your free coffee education--or as we like to call it, javacation. Coffee lovers unite!
