Last night Eric Resch, owner of Stone Creek Coffee, celebrated with fellow Downtown YMCA volunteers a great achievement. This year Eric was the co-chair of the annual Strong Kids fundraising effort. With a goal of $419,000 the staff and volunteers of the Downtown YMCA were able to exceed their goal and raise $474,000 for the youth of downtown Milwaukee. Additionally, the Metro YMCA awarded the Downtown Strong Kids team Campaign of the Year.

What does this have to do with coffee? A lot. Stone Creek was founded on the premise that a company has an obligation to support and give back to the communities it serves. Stone Creek supports all it's employees in their volunteer endeavors and applauds Eric and the Downtown YMCA staff and volunteers for a job well done. Sip Slowly.
