I recently had the opportunity to meet Jac and Sherri Kirkpatrick from an organization called HealthEd Connect. They were in town and were able to stop into the Factory for some coffee and a tour.
HealthEd Connect works to empower women and children through evidence-based health, education and advocacy programs. They currently have programs in Zambia, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Nepal. You can learn more about them on their website - www.healthedconnect.org.
Jac and Sherri use our coffee to help fundraise for their organization. It was nice to have them visit the Factory and learn more about our company and our coffee. I had a great time swapping traveling stories with Jac and leading our guests through a tasting of African coffees. Here's Sherri and I tasting our Tanzanian coffee:

Have a great weekend and Sip Slowly.
