Coffee Weather - 9/14/2011
Posted By:   Eric Resch - Founder

This morning I awoke to fall. For the last few weeks I have pretended that the chilly mornings were still part of the waning days of summer. Fall has indeed arrived.  I love fall because it is the best coffee drinking weather of the year.

The mornings are cool, the days are warm.  I also love spring coffee weather but the key distinction is that in the spring our prevailing winds tend to be southerly and more humid.  In the fall our prevailing winds tend to be northerly which brings crisp, low humidity days.   The coffee clearing benefits of the first cup seems to match the clarity of the day.

So...with my Patagonia fleece zipped up tightly and my favorite mug in hand I headed to my local Stone Creek in Shorewood...I grabbed my 2 shot Americano from Mathew....I walked outside and Sipped Slowly.

Fall is here.
