Earlier this year, our Retail Team completed extensive research and testing on coffee brewing systems in effort to provide our customers with the best tasting coffee possible. After many hours of brewing and tasting, we have begun to switch over the brewing equipment in our stores.
Last night, at our Oconomowoc Store, our Facilities Manager Jason Dama installed a new Fetco Brewing System. Earlier this year, Jason, along with our Barista Trainer, Shannon and our Vice President of Retail, Athena, spent many hours researching the industry leading equipment manufacturers to determine which one brewed the best cup of coffee. The brewed, sampled, tweaked settings, sampled some more, brewed more, sampled more...it seemed to be never ending. At the end of it all, we selected Fetco as the brewer of choice.
As a company Fetco is committed to developing ecology-friendly technology as a top priority. They use only conmponents that do not contain harmful materials which is better for the environment. The brewers we have chosen also brew coffee into insulated shuttles that do not come into direct contact with a heat source. This keeps the coffee fresher, longer.
The result is a better cup of coffee for our customers - a cup that we can truly say is BREWED Expertly. Over the next few months, we will be switching over the brewers in all of our stores. We look forward to hearing your feedback!
