Wizard to Rummage for Music to Play at Party - 7/18/2007
Posted By:  Mary Dally-Muenzmaier

Have you ever played with those refrigerator word magnets? Ya know, where the magnets have individual words printed on them and you can make really funny/weird sentences by moving them around? Well, the above is the best--albeit nonsensical--headline we could come up with to describe the mind-boggling amount of stuff going on at various Stone Creek Coffee locations this weekend. Seeing as you may have trouble deciphering what it is we're saying--and who could blame ya--let's just lay it all out, shall we?

For starters, three of our retail stores are staying open late this Friday and into the early morning hours of Saturday for the midnight release of the boy wizard's final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The super friendly staff at Stone Creek's Oconomowoc, Shorewood and Bay View locations will be there to serve up all the Butterbeer you and your little wizard(s) can handle, not to mention other treats that are always available. This year's Butterbeer is a hazelnut steamer with green caramel whipped cream--should be just enough to keep y'all awake until the clock strikes twelve or so.

Also starting in the wee hours of Saturday morning is the Stone Creek Coffee Reunion Bash at the Bay View retail store at 2266 S. Kinnickinnic Avenue . (Not directly after the Harry Potter thing; this ain't no pajama party. Though that is an idea...) Don't let the name throw ya because the Reunion Bash is for everyone: Stone Creek's current and former staff, friends, family, and you!

The first part of the Reunion Bash is the Rummage Sale from 7:00AM-12:00PM. We're selling Stone Creek Coffee artifacts, t-shirts, hardware, old lawn furniture, etc. Everything must go!! Whatever is not sold will be donated to charity, so come on down and get a great deal!

The second part of the Reunion Bash is the Stone Creek Coffee Community + Music Party. We've been telling you a lot about this for a while now, and we really hope that many of you can come down to enjoy this first ever event sponsored by Stone Creek and 91.7 FM WMSE. The party starts at 7:30PM and runs 'til 10:00PM, with LIVE music provided by local artist Heidi Spencer. It's all about amazing coffee and amazing music!

Whew, okay, that's a lot of stuff, right? Did we cover everything? Think so. Then all that's left to say is we'll see ya there!

Stone Creek's South Shore Siren Song - 7/18/2007
Posted By:  Mary Dally-Muenzmaier

Do you hear that? That sweet and beguiling sound as it carries on the Lake Michigan breeze? It is a sound so enticing that it can only be the melodic song of Stone Creek Coffee beckoning you to come to the South Shore Park Farmer's Market.

We sing this song every summer and without fail, inviting one and all to the shade of our tent to partake in the very best that Stone Creek has to offer. We implore thee to come and make your presence known to us as we serve our amazing coffee to the masses. We promise that our song will not lead to your destruction against the jagged rocks, but will only yield friendly hellos and prompt refreshment upon your order.

If our song has done its job then, all we need do now is tell you where and when:

South Shore Park

Every Saturday through October 20

8:00AM-12:00PM

Spend your Saturday morning with us and ye shall not regret it.
