With recent trends shifting to a focus on local products and local food, Stone Creek Coffee has decided to only buy, roast and sell coffee grown right here in Milwaukee. While we recognize that coffee is best grown in warm climates with lots of sun and the perfect amout of rain, we believe that we'll be able to recreate these conditions with some 100 watt light bulbs and a water hose in the basement of The Stone Creek Factory. 

New coffee trees take around three years to produce a usable harvest and each tree only produces around a pound or so of coffee per harvest. Given this limited supply, it will also be necessary to raise coffee prices to around $750 per pound. We're looking forward to offering some great local coffee...grown in Milwaukee!

After Sipping Slowly all these years, the folks at Stone Creek Coffee have decided to take a new outlook on their coffee drinking lifestyle. Instead of Sipping Slowly… enjoying the attributes of the coffee, reflecting on its qualities and appreciating it, we now have decided to focus on Gulp Faster: Drinking as much coffee as possible. At our Factory, we have initiated espresso drinking contests to see how many shots of espresso one can drink in 15 minutes. We now have a record of 56 shots! Since this focus has changed, employees get a bunch of work completed in the morning, and by afternoon it is common to see their face down at their desks. Perhaps some more espresso would do?...
