The Stone Creek Factory

The Stone Creek Factory is home to our roasting operations and corporate offices. Built in 1898, our Cream City brick building was designed by the architectural team of Burnham and Root, famous for their design of Chicago World’s Fair at the turn of the century. Past tenants of our building have included Boston Store, Palmolive Soap, Basic Fixtures and 5th Street Antiques. In 1999, we moved in from our original roasting facility in Grafton and setup shop.

In 2012 we are undertaking a top to bottom renovation of The Stone Creek Factory. Our basement is being converted to a Coffee Cellar which will house our raw coffee inventory waiting to be roasted. On the main floor, in addition to our production facility, we will open The Factory Store, a unique place for customers to come and sip slowly. We will also be building a state of the art training center and coffee quality lab where our staff and customers will be educated on all of the intricacies of coffee. Finally, on the second floor of our amazing building, we will open The Stone Creek Kitchen. Here we will create specialty food products designed to pair perfectly with our coffee.
